Bastián González-Bustamante. Adjunct Professor and Research Associate at the University of Santiago, Chile. He also teaches at the Central University of Chile. He completed a Master in Political Science from the University of Chile and a Bachelor in Public Service Administration, Government and Political Sciences from the same institution. From 2011 to present, he has worked in several research projects supported by the Chilean National Research Grant (known by its acronym as FONDECYT in Spanish). In 2013, he completed his master degree from the University of Chile with first-class honors and the highest rating in his M.A. dissertation. The same year he was also distinguished with a prize from Argentine Association of Political Analysis (SAAP for its acronym in Spanish) for the best research in the political communication field at the Argentinian Congress of political science. His main areas of interest are political sociology, political communication and public opinion, and social research methods with a focus on quantitative and mixed methods.
