Damián Gálvez G. Coordinator of the Observatory of Neo-racism, IIPSS. BA Degree in Social Anthropology from the Universidad Academia de Humanismo Cristiano and MA candidate in Anthropology from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). During 2013 he was a member of the project CONICYT/FONDAP 15110006 of the Interdisciplinary Center for Intercultural and Indigenous Studies from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Currently, his master thesis is part of the project “Forms and disputes of the memory” FONDECYT 1140344. In 2015-2016 he was a visiting scholar in the Lateinamerika Institut of the Freie Universität Berlin. Also, he has given professional talks in Mexico, USA and Chile. His research interests are the political anthropology, specifically in the struggles for recognition of indigenous people and in the conflicts for the memory in Chile
