Damián Gálvez G. Coordinator of the Observatory of Racism and Migrations, IIPSS. BA Degree in Social Anthropology from the Universidad Academia de Humanismo Cristiano and MA  in Anthropology from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). Ph.D. student in Social and Cultural Anthropology from the Lateinamerika Institut, Freie Universität Berlin (CONICYT-DAAD Scholarship). He is a member of the editorial team of Pléyade. Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences. Also, he has given professional talks in Mexico, USA and Chile. His research interests are the political anthropology, specifically in the struggles for recognition of indigenous people and in the conflicts for the memory in Chile
